MELISE is a European project promoting media literacy among older people, to bridge the digital and generational divide, and to make online spaces safer. The project aims to develop critical digital citizenship skills, with a focus on countering misinformation, online safety and responsible use of social media.

The project offers a platform with free and multilingual educational resources, partly dedicated directly to older people, partly to the training of professionals working with them.

The idea stems from a consortium including organisations from Spain, Greece, Italy and Portugal, and aims at creating a pan-European network for the promotion of media literacy among older people.
