GEOJO’S mission is to connect the dots between science, communication, and education by introducing Geojournalism into Higher Education.
Through an innovative educational program, GEOJO will equip students with the tools and knowledge needed to convey critical information about climate change and environmental challenges using data journalism.
By combining the power of statistics, informatics, and storytelling, the project will help students analyze data, uncover meaningful patterns, and communicate insights effectively. A special focus on geospatial data and visualization empowers learners to create impactful maps and visual narratives, enhancing their digital proficiency and preparing them to address global challenges with confidence.
The outcomes of the project will be:
- Need analysis and report
- Develop a course structure and plan lessons organization
- Online training event for professors, trainers and students
